Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks a qualified adjunct instructor to teach an education class: EDU 302 - Physical Education and Health Techniques for the Spring 2022 term. The class will be taught in the synchronous Online Live format and can be taught from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.

A competitive stipend is offered. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in a relevant field with experience teaching at the undergraduate level and professional experience at the K-12 level.

  • Provide synchronous online live instruction.
  • Be available to students on a weekly basis.
  • Respond in a timely manner (2 working days) to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
  • Use university technology as directed (institutional email address, submission of grades, and so on.)


  • Master's degree in relevant field.
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
  • Professional experience in K-12 educational setting.


  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
  • No or very limited physical effort required.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
