POSITION PURPOSE 

Facilitate the teaching and learning of computer science to students of Lakeland University's Evening and Online centers.  Must be able to teach in person within the Fox Cities or Wisconsin Rapids area as well as virtual and online.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide instruction in a classroom environment and/or online as determined by supervisor.
  • Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Use technology as directed (institutional email, submission of grades, etc.).

SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW & SKILLS 

  • The ideal candidate must have a master's degree in computer science or master's degree in any field with undergraduate work and experience in computer science.  Current need in database management, analytics, cybersecurity, programming, machine analytics, and AI.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk;
  • No or very limited physical effort required;
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
